Abstract

This study aims to analyze the characteristics and income of nutmeg processing businesses in Morella Village, Leihitu District, Central Maluku Regency. The research method used is a qualitative and quantitative data collection method using primary data and secondary data. The sampling method is carried out intentionally (purposive sampling). Data analysis was carried out using the analysis of income and receipts from the production of nutmeg juice. The results showed that the characteristics of the nutmeg juice processing business include the origin of the nutmeg juice business, capital, raw materials, labor, and production. Receipts amounted to Rp. 264.663.000,- per year with an average amount of Rp. 22.005.250,- per month. Meanwhile, the income from the palayang juice business was received at Rp. 63,544,374 per year with an average value of Rp. 5,295,365,-. The total production cost is Rp. 30.941.327,- per month. This income is very good because of the production cost of Rp. 201,118,626 per year.
