Abstract

This research aims to find out and analyze the development strategies used in clove farmers in Haya Village in increasing their income. The sample determination method is carried out purposively by analyzing the development strategies that have been used by farmers. In addition to being analyzed using qualitative descriptive research methods, this research also uses SWOT analysis (Strenght, Weakness, Opportunity, Threat). The results showed that the total value of the internal factor score of 4.44 identified that the income level and development strategy for clove farming had a strong internal position, the total value of the external factor score of 2.90 identified that it had a strong enough external potential so that farmers could respond well to existing opportunities and threats. The SWOT diagram shows the position of farmers in an aggressive state that is very profitable for farmers.
