Analysis Of Financial Performance Before And During The Covid-19 Pandemic In Telecommunication Companies Listed On The Indonesia Stock Exchange Period 2018-2021
Abstract
This study aims to analyze the comparison of financial performance before and during the Covid-19 pandemic in telecommunications companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2018-2021 period. The company's financial performance in this study was measured using financial ratios including: Current Ratio (CR) , Cash Ratio (CsR), Debt to Asset Ratio (DAR) , Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) , Total Asset Turn Over (TATO) , Fixed Assets Turn Over (FATO), Return on Assets (ROA), Return on Equity (ROE). This study uses a comparative method with a quantitative approach, while the data used is in the form of secondary data obtained from the Indonesia Stock Exchange. In this study, the samples were obtained using a purposive sampling technique in order to obtain four companies that fit the research criteria. The data analysis used in this study is financial ratio analysis. The results of this study indicate that of the eight financial ratios tested, there are four financial ratios that have no significant difference between before and during the Covid-19 pandemic, namely Cash Ratio (CsR), Total Asset Turn Over (TATO), Fixed Asset Turn Over (FATO), and Return on Equity (ROE). Meanwhile, the other four ratios had significant differences between before and during the Covid-19 pandemic, namely the Current Ratio (CR), Debt to Asset Ratio (DAR), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), and Return on Assets (ROA) in companies certain.
