Cucumber Marketing Management In Wonggeduku Sub district

Abstract

This study analyzes cucumber marketing channels and cucumber marketing management in Duriasi Village, Wonggeduku District, Konawe Regency. The number of samples in this study amounted to 20. Where the number of respondent farmers was 16 cucumber farmers and four traders. The determination of the sample of cucumber farmers in this study was to use the census method. While the method of taking marketing agencies, in this case, the cucumber trader, is done by using the snowball sampling method. The analysis used is descriptive qualitative analysis. Based on the research results, there are three marketing channels for cucumber by involving two marketing agencies, namely traders and small traders/retailers. Regarding the implementation of marketing management, the distribution channel of orders by local consumers is the delivery order (DO) system, while for consumers outside Konawe and Southeast Sulawesi, it uses the Transport Order (OP) system. Prices are between IDR 150,000 / sack and IDR 200,000 / sack. The price of cucumber fruit sold in traditional markets and vegetable stalls is between Rp. 4000 / kg and Rp. 5000 / kg.
