Analysis of Company Performance at PT. Pupuk Indonesia (Persero)

Abstract

As a company whose shares are fully owned by the government, PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero) has a great responsibility in providing fertilizer for farmers in Indonesia and contributing to national food security. The purpose of this study is to analyze the company's performance ratios in the financial and operational dimensions of the company. This research method is mixed-methode, which is a combination of qualitative and quantitative analysis. Qualitative analysis uses qualitative descriptive methods to see the general condition of the company from annual reports and financial reports published to the public. Quantitative analysis with non-parametric statistics to calculate performance analysis or financial ratios. The results showed that the financial and operational performance of PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero) in the period 2019 to 2023 indicated satisfactory performance. The company not only managed to record profits, but was also able to run its operations effectively, including meeting fertilizer production targets and distributing subsidized fertilizers in accordance with government regulations.
