Income Analysis Of Fruit Traders Before And After The Covid-19 Pandemic In Ambon City
Abstract
Ambon City as well as the capital of Maluku Province has not escaped the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. The policy of limiting the space for movement has more or less affected people's activities outside the home and reduced consumer interest in buying and selling activities, resulting in a reduction in the income of traders. This study aims to determine the significant difference in the income of fruit traders in Ambon City between before and after the COVID-19 pandemic. This research uses a quantitative research approach, with sampling techniques using a census with a total of 30 fruit traders. Data collection of this study used observation, literature studies, and interviews using questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis method uses descriptive statistical analysis and the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test nonparametric test. The results of the study obtained were sales turnover value: ZCount (-1,800) < Z0.05 (1.96) and Asym. Sig value (2 tailed) 0.072 > 0.05 then Ha was rejected. This means that there is a real and insignificant difference between the sales turnover of fruit merchants before and after the covid-19 pandemic and the value of income: ZCount (-3,527) < Z0.05 (1.96) and the value of Asym. Sig (2 tailed) 0.000 < 0.05 then Ha accepted. This means that there is a real and significant difference between the income of fruit traders before and after the Covid-19 pandemic in Ambon City.
