The study uses provincial panel data for 2017 to 2023 and applies panel regression with an interaction specification. Inclusive growth is represented by the income distribution and poverty reduction dimension of the inclusive economic development index, while digitalization is proxied by the information and communication technology development index. The empirical pattern suggests that digitalization is positively related to inclusive growth. However, the interaction between digitalization and human development is negative and statistically meaningful, indicating that higher human development does not automatically intensify the inclusive benefits of technology. A sub sample reading reveals different regional dynamics. Digitalization appears to expand economic access in provinces with lower human development, whereas in more developed provinces it may concentrate gains among workers and firms with stronger digital capability. The article argues that digitalization should not be treated as a socially neutral development instrument. Its inclusive value depends on the distribution of skills, infrastructure, labor protection, and regional absorptive capacity. Policy responses therefore need to be differentiated, with basic access and literacy prioritized in lagging regions and advanced digital skills, labor transition support, and platform regulation strengthened in more developed regions.
Copyright (c) 2026 Asia Pacific Journal of Business Economics and Technology https://www.apjbet.com/index.php/apjbet/article/view/337 The Effect Of Trustworthiness, Expertise, Attractiveness, And Online Customer Review On Purchase Intention In Madiun 2026-07-23T06:37:06+00:00 Khamima Nurizzah [email protected] Hendra Setiawan [email protected] Sulthan Misbahul Ghifaari [email protected]
This study aims to empirically examine the influence of trustworthiness, expertise, attractiveness, and online customer review on consumers’ purchase intention in culinary products within the Madiun area, with a case study on TikTok followers of @tio_philus. Arfani [email protected] Galuh Ajeng Ayuningtiyas [email protected]
This study aims to analyze the effect of Work-Life Balance and Work Motivation on Employee Performance at Playtopia Tunjungan Plaza Surabaya. This research employed a quantitative approach with an explanatory research design. The population consisted of 15 employees of Playtopia Tunjungan Plaza Surabaya, and saturated sampling was used so that all 15 employees were included as respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires using a five-point Likert scale and analyzed using validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, t-test, F-test, and coefficient of determination using IBM SPSS Statistics. The results show that Work-Life Balance has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance, with a significance value of 0.027 < 0.05. In contrast, Work Motivation does not have a significant effect on Employee Performance, with a significance value of 0.256 > 0.05. Simultaneously, Work-Life Balance and Work Motivation have a significant effect on Employee Performance, as indicated by an F-test significance value of 0.021 < 0.05. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.476 indicates that Work-Life Balance and Work Motivation jointly explain 47.6% of the variation in Employee Performance, while the remaining 52.4% is explained by other factors outside the research model. These findings indicate that Work-Life Balance plays a more significant role in explaining Employee Performance than Work Motivation when examined individually. Therefore, organizations should consider employees' work-life balance alongside motivational factors when developing strategies to improve employee performance.
2026-08-12T09:47:24+00:00 Copyright (c) 2026 Asia Pacific Journal of Business Economics and Technology https://www.apjbet.com/index.php/apjbet/article/view/347 The Influence The Influence Of Leadership Style And Work Environment On Employee Job Satisfaction At PT Meroke Remains Jaya 2026-08-14T06:13:57+00:00 Rezha Mahendra [email protected] Anita Asnawi [email protected] Damajanti Sri Lestari [email protected]
This study aims to analyze the contributions of Leadership Style (X1) and Work Environment (X2) to Employee Job Satisfaction (Y) at PT Meroke Tetap Jaya, both individually and simultaneously. Employing a quantitative causal-associative approach, the sample size was determined using Cochran's formula, resulting in 96 employee respondents selected via proportionate stratified random sampling. Primary data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire. Multiple linear regression analysis yielded the model Y = 0.236 + 0.311X1 + 0.317X2. Partial tests (t-tests) showed a calculated t-value of 6.800 (p=0.000 < 0.05) for Leadership Style and 3.262 (p=0.002 < 0.05) for Work Environment, indicating that both independent variables have a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. The simultaneous test (F-test) resulted in a calculated F-value of 83.580 (p=0.000 < 0.05), confirming that leadership and work environment collectively have a significant impact on employee job satisfaction. An Adjusted R-Square value of 0.635 indicates that 63.5% of the variation in job satisfaction can be explained by these two independent variables, while the remaining 36.5% is influenced by variables outside the scope of this study.
2026-08-12T10:12:04+00:00 Copyright (c) 2026 Asia Pacific Journal of Business Economics and Technology https://www.apjbet.com/index.php/apjbet/article/view/348 Analysis Of Purchasing Decisions In Terms Of Lifestyle, Electronic Word Of Mouth (E-Wom), And Store Atmosphere At Plaga Coffee In Surakarta 2026-08-21T05:28:44+00:00 Ida Arayti Diyah Purnomo Wulan [email protected] Ida Aryati Diyah Purnomo Wulan [email protected] Fithri Setya Marwati [email protected] Dewi Shanti Nugrahani [email protected] Anna Probowati [email protected]
This research is motivated by the increasingly fierce competition in the Coffee shop industry, which requires business actors to understand the factors influencing consumer purchasing decisions.
